During this module you will develop a Menu Plan.
You will develop one nutritional breakfast, two nutritional snacks and one nutritional lunch menu for 25 3-5 year olds for one day out of the week.
You will write the recipes for each.
Using the resources provided in the module estimate how many portions you would need for each snack, breakfast and lunch.
You will need to figure out all the ingredients, foods, and quantity of how much you will need.
Then you will create a grocery list.
How much will it cost to feed the 25 3-5 year old children for 1 day? Take your grocery list next time you go to the store and price all of the items on your list.
You will type a report to include all of the information you have gathered.
Your report will include: snack recipes, estimated proportions, a list of ingredients, foods, nutritional value, quantity of how much you will need and how this aligns to the food pyramid. A grocery list with the prices of the ingredients and foods must also be included. Please use the template provided, all spaces in the template must be filled in to receive full credit.
