In this discussion, give a description of your progress, what obstacles have you encountered, and what ways have you overcome these obstacles.

In chapter 6, the author describes twelve disruptions to existing markets. Create a new thread, choose one of the disruptions discussed in chapter 6, and explain how you think it will impact today’s economy, and provide at least two real examples of the chosen disruption being realized with blockchain technology today.

Then think of three questions you’d like to ask other students and add these to the end of your thread. The questions should be taken from material you read in Chapter 4, 5, or 6. You’re not trying to test each other, but you are trying to start a discussion.

In chapter 4, the author describes four types of costs that blockchain technology can reduce. Which of the four cost types, if reduced through blockchain technology, would most impact the organization for which you currently work?  What would be the most visible impact on your job role? How could you minimize any negative impact?

3. Duality nature of material

(a) A light source has an output wavelength of 532 nm and an output power of 10 W. What is the number of photons emitted within 2 s?

(b) The light source in part (a) was used to illuminate a totally black absorption surface. What is the average force applied on the surface within 1 second.

(c) An electron has a wavelength of 0.01 nm. What is the moving speed of the electron? (Mass of electron =9.1 10−31 kg).

For this project option, you (as an individual) will write a 6-12 page paper covering the concepts and topics since the beginning of the course! Each topic DOES NOT need its’ own section. For example, it may be easiest to talk about forces in 2D and 3D in one section, or you may find it easier to separate the sections. Do what works best for you!

Additionally, 1 example problem from the topics above should be included in the paper and explained in detail (Like we have been doing for the HW and Lecture Activities)! That is 1 example problem in total!

A maximum of 6 PowerPoint slides on a STOPWATCH that you have created as an Engineer. Your goal will be to convince your audience(also Engineers) about the innovative aspect of this stopwatch. You need to include images (can search on the net) of the stopwatch and his different components. You can use other existing stopwatch on the market but you must convince your audience (Engineers) about the different components, features or characteristics of your stopwatch. Your audience need to know what is new and futuristic about your product. Just be creative and you can also search on the net. The idea here is to convince a particular type of audience about a product that you have created with his different elements and functionalities.

This week’s reading introduced an overview of blockchain and its impact on business. What impact could implementing a blockchain solution at your organization have? Think of ways that using blockchain could affect your role. Would anything change? Is there any aspect of your role that would be better with blockchain? Or perhaps implementing blockchain would make something more difficult. Would you welcome those changes? Discuss your thoughts.
