My best friend is Rita. She is a good friend I have known since junior high school. We have known each other for eight years. Rita is a sweet-looking girl with tall stature. At the same time, she is also a passionate person.

What are the effects of not getting enough sleep? Some people get awful distractions when they don’t have enough sleep. Other people are not focused during the day when they haven’t slept. However, to best understand these effects, we should examine their causes. There are three intriguing causes of not getting enough sleep.

1- The first interesting reason for insufficient sleep is stress.

2- In addition to being under stress, another cause for sleeplessness is sickness.

3- resides not getting enough sleep from stress and sickness, the most cause of sleeplessness is children.

Write three body paragraphs and every paragraph should have:

Topic sentence (1 sentence ) – must have the required transition phrases and state your topic + controlling idea clearly

Explanation (3-4 sentences ) – must define your controlling idea

Example (4-5 sentences ) – must develop one example with a depth of detail (either a generalization or a personal example- no made-up people)

Concluding sentence (1 sentence ) – must have an appropriate transition and restate your topic sentence

Conclusion:

Restate the thesis indirectly, begin with an appropriate transition (You can copy this sentence from your C/E Important Sentences homework.)

List your 3 causes again in a single sentence with parallel structure.

In this assignment, you are going to apply your training in identifying logical fallacies in a talk radio show from 2011.
