E. L. is an 88-year-old widow who has advanced dementia. She is a retired secretary and is cared for in the home of her divorced daughter, who is her power of attorney for health affairs. E. L. requires assistance with all activities of daily living. She spends most of the day sitting in her orthopedic recliner (she has had bilateral hip replacements) or lying in bed. She does not speak or acknowledge the presence of others. Recently, E. L. has stopped eating all meals except for small banana slices. She resists a spoon when it is brought to her mouth, and she pockets food in her cheeks without swallowing. E. L. was admitted to the hospital several months ago for influenza and bilateral pneumonia. She was treated in the intensive care unit for three days and then sent home. The possibility of a feeding tube insertion was discussed during her hospitalization. E. L.’s daughter is seeking guidance on artificial nutrition and hydration.

you are the director of a community clinic.

You have noticed an increase in the number of people who come to the clinic from the India. You will write a letter to your staff educating them about this country and their vulnerable populations to better serve these people.

Address the following in your letter:

1. Who are the vulnerable populations in this country?
   1. Discuss why they are considered a vulnerable population.

Emergency Response Plans 

Emergency health disasters can occur when least expected. As evidenced by the readings, it is important to anticipate and prepare for such events. As evidenced by the current COVID-19 pandemic disaster preparedness is critical to public health. For this assignment please compare and contrast Saudi Arabia’s emergency response activities related to the pandemic to any country of your choosing. Include in your essay:

• Best practices for emergency response plans to manage pandemics
• The key activities of each country’s emergency response
• The key agencies involved and how they worked together
• The effectiveness of the response including areas of strength and areas that may need improvement for each country
• What resources do all countries need to be prepared for pandemics such as COVID-19?

Lab summary guideline:

Start with a one or two-sentence objective. These reports include your full data analysis (with fully-labeled graphs and tables 1-2 pages), A short summary in form of pragraphes stating what was found and what your findings mean (1 page). Questions given at the end of the exercise should be answered (2-3 pages). This should also include proper citations (APA).

Make sure to do all points in the data analysis. The answers to the questions must be detailed. There must be at least 3 tables and please make the calucltion for the printout.

Answer the questions of the rubric using the data in the date document.
