I know more of what to expect for this assignment, and I don’t need to much this time. 😀

Please run through the attached documents so we are on the same page.

I just need:

1. Help with coming up with 2 research questions that we can run simple inferential statistics on with the data. We have talked about means/deviations, cross products & then squaring the differences, sum of squares, SP–> Pearson’s r. Then from r, a t-test. Degrees of freedom, p values, and confidence intervals if it’s applicable. We recently just started talking about simple regression, to model with 2 variables and error.

So that’s all I’m looking to include those applicable stats to whatever we come up with. With the data set that is included, I’m just not sure how to start 2 research questions on this info, and how perhaps we’d set up an experiment.

2. Just run those inferential stats with a lil explanation so I can include them in my write up. One more assignment after this and I’m done!

Before attempting the project, make sure you have watched the Project Introduction video and entered your project data into either Excel or Statistix. Using Statistix, you are required to generate printouts that you will embed into the Project Word document that is posted below. You will then answer the questions that I ask in the project, save the document with your completed work.

Here are the steps you will need to complete:

1. Download the project.
2. Watch the Project Description/Printout Demonstration Video to help you to generate the required printouts.
3. Embed the printouts and answer the project questions and submit it in Canvas by midnight on the due date.

To help, I have created a video for both showing you how to Submit Projects in Canvas and also Using Statistix in the Application Gateway (which is posted elsewhere). Feel free to join me during the Blackboard Collaborate Ultra sessions to ask questions about the project! I will be doing Statistix demonstrations as well as sharing printouts from my data set and helping you answer project questions for my printouts.
