Bullying in Middle Childhood & Adolescence

Overview

As children enter middle childhood and adolescence peer relationships become more important.  With these new relationships comes the potential for bullying, which can have a devastating impact on children. 

Directions

For this assignment you will research the types of bullying children may experience, its prevalence, and common characteristics of bullies and their victims. In addition, you will identify and describe two programs designed to prevent bullying.   Based on your research, what steps can be taken to prevent or reduce bullying among children?

I have received some questions about the Personal Conflict Analysis. Here are some pointers:

1. This is PERSONAL paper. Not all themes may apply to your analysis. Your job is to use your journal data and your own experience to “deep dive” into what you do when you have problems or conflicts (and why you think you react/act this way) and the other person(s) you are focusing on in your analysis does/does not do.
