Set out Nissenbaum’s transparency paradox for the notice and consent model. Then explain why it doesn’t also undermine the possibility of consenting to medical procedures. Finally, consider what would be involved in applying the practices/institutions/et cetera which allow genuine consent in medicine to the use of personal data.
