Humanities Homework Help. CSUN Adolescence from Biopsychosocial Perspective Analysis

Part 1 of assignment:

Analyze one of the following periods of life, from a BioPsychoSocial perspective:

Prenatal Development
Infancy/Toddlerhood (0-2)
Early Childhood (2-7)
Middle Childhood (7-12)
Adolescence (12-18)

Late Adulthood (65 and up)

Specifically, discuss some of the most important physical, cognitive, and social developments that take place in your chosen age period. Address how development in that specific stage is influenced by biological, psychological, and socio-cultural factors.

Part 2 of assignment:

Apply the BioPsychoSocial perspective to the topic of COVID-19. Responses should be 1/2 page minimum, double-spaced, size 12 pt. font, MLA format and can be related to any aspect of the pandemic, as long as it addresses biological, psychological, and socio-cultural elements.

Humanities Homework Help. CHDEV 042 San Jose State University Identity Development of Children Discussion Paper

“When we understand that a child’s racial identity is shaped from the outside, and constructed from the inside, teachers can play a critical role in making children make sense of the confusing and often emotionally charged messages they receive about who they are racially and how the world feels about who they are.”(Derman-Sparks, p79)

The following to prepare for Discussions and learning: (20 points)

Roots and Wings: Ch 2 and Ch 3: “Children and Prejudice,” “Racism”

Anti Bias Education: Ch 2:” Children’s Identity Development,” “Learning about Racial Identity and Fairness”

Choose one quote or idea from each chapter you read for homework that you think is a very important idea or concept. For each, cite the textbook and page number you got the quote or idea from. (3 chapters, 2 books = 6 quotes)

Then, briefly, for each quote, tell me why you choose that quote or idea as the most important idea in the chapter? What is its meaning to you? For others? Why do you think that this would be an important idea for others to know about? Your paragraph can be 2-3 sentences.

(Requirement book 1. Roots and Wings, Affirming Culture in Early Childhood Programs, by Stacy York
